The Rotary Foundation
The Rotary Foundation was established in 1917 when outgoing RI President Arch C. Klumph proposed creating an endowment "for the purpose of doing good in the world." The Foundation received its first contribution of $26.50 in 1917 and has grown into one of the world's most effective humanitarian organizations.
Today, The Rotary Foundation funds scholarships, grants for local and international projects, polio eradication efforts through PolioPlus, and peace programs. Every dollar donated is carefully stewarded to maximize impact in communities worldwide.
Members of Rotary Club of Dhaka North proudly support The Rotary Foundation through annual giving, PolioPlus contributions, and participation in Foundation programs.
